Low MIPS & Memory Machine Learning Industrial Vibration Monitoring Solution

John EDWARDS, DSP, AI and Embedded Systems Consultant

Sigma Numerix Ltd.

This paper presents a low MIPS and Memory combined DSP/Linear Classification Convolutional Neural Network solution:

  • An Artificial Intelligence (AI) based vibration monitoring system that uses machine learning to recognize vibration modes in rotating machines
  • The real-time algorithm implementation on the Arm Cortex® M33 based NXP LPC5500
  • Vibration mode detection performance results
