tinyML Research Symposium 2021 Best Paper Award

Congratulations to Guangyuan Hu (pictured), Zecheng He, and Ruby B. Lee from Princeton University for winning the inaugural tinyML Research Symposium Best Paper Award! Their work “Smartphone Impostor Detection with Behavioral Data Privacy and Minimalist Hardware Support” was selected for its strengths in cross-layer innovation and end-to-end implementation. It presents a compelling use case, innovates in privacy-centric online training methods, and provides an informative comparison between deep learning and traditional machine learning models.
